Wow! I've been married for almost a month, oddly enough - and married life is great :)

The wedding was perfect - just like I'd imagined, and Drew and I had a wondeful time in Disneyworld.

So now we're working on getting our apartment put together, and just getting used to everything.

WEDDING COUNTDOWN: 1 MONTH!

Thursday, April 06, 2006

So basically it's been a crazy week, going to dress rehersals and singing lot's of Hebrew.

And tonight is opening night for the Passion Play at my church!

Hopefully it will go well - we have a performance tonight, tomorrow night, then two on Saturday and two on Sunday.

What a crazy week!

On Saturday Drew moved into the new apartment, so that alone has been taking up tons of time - it's amazing just how much stuff is needed when you move. We've made multiple trips to Wal-Mart and Target, not to mention a rather expensive trip to the grocery store. Right now the only "finished" rooms are the bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen. The other rooms just have piles of furniture in them - no couch, chairs, or table yet. But it's definitely coming along.

So besides the apartment, I've been working on getting together all my stuff for sending out resume packets to school districts around the county. Ugh. Let me tell you, it hasn't been fun. My goal is to have everything done and mailed out tomorrow. Then comes the really fun part: interviews.

And finally to add to the busyness, this year my friend Katie and I decided to join the church choir and be part of the Passion Play - our church's Easter musical. It's a lot of fun, but with all the rehersals and performances (6 in all), I'll be ready for a good long nap when it's over.

In other news, my brother Phil is in Switzerland. He just flew over on Monday with a group from my church, and he'll be there for two weeks. They're helping out with some kind of conference and Phil's leading the music. Just thought I'd give him a mention since Jon got a post all to himself :)
